From time to time a group of talented photographers — nationwide and sometimes international — plays a little game called a blog carousel. We each post our take on a theme and then link to the blog of the next participant. This month’s theme is macro (extreme closeups). Often macro images are of insects and flowers, but being mainly a photographer of newborn babies, I chose to show off those tiny precious bits and pieces of a brand new infant. These are the features every parent tries to remember down to the very last detail, because we all know babies don’t keep, and in just a few short months, everything will have changed. It’s been my goal for the past few weeks to make sure to document these beautiful details of each new baby who comes into the studio. Meet today’s new little soul, Jackson.
